2014-07-09:You can performed a spiritual Checkup and adjust yourself

As there is an exam to determine my physical status, there is a spiritual exam as well. The Bible says, “Examine yourselves to see if your faith is genuine. Test yourselves. Surely you know that Jesus Christ is among you; if not, you have failed the test of genuine faith” (2 Corinthians 13:5). In other words, are you really a Christian? Or are you just pretending? You are really a Christian when you have put your faith in Jesus Christ and Christ alone to save you, and you are trusting in Him and walking with Him. It will show itself in the way that you live.

Sometimes when people go through hardship, they say that event or tragedy has shaken their life; it has shaken their faith. In fact, they say they have lost their faith. But the faith that can’t be shaken is the faith that has been shaken. If it is genuine faith, then it will stand up to the test.

Some others are waiting for the waters to part as Israelites with the red sea, and then they think they’ll take a step of faith. But your obedience is what causes the water to part! You might think you are waiting on God, but God is waiting on you. If you’ll do what you know God is asking you to do, then your obedience will activate His favor, the increase, the blessing. Much of what happens along the way are simply tests. Don’t wait for the water to part. Step out, believe God and walk into the blessing He has in store for you!

Confess it with your tongue as your faith is in action. God wants to do new and incredible things in your life! He has a new season of goodness in store for you. The power to see His plan come to pass in your life is found in the power of your words. When you get in agreement with God, when you say what He says, that’s when things will change in your life.

“Life and death are in the power of the tongue.” No one else chooses your words but you! You can speak forth seeds of life or seeds of death. What you have in your life today is a direct result of your words in the past, and what you will see in the future is a direct result of what you are speaking today.

Why don’t you choose to bless your future? Why don’t you choose to declare that it’s a new season? Why don’t you choose to speak what God speaks and believe that He has a new season of goodness in store for you today as you assess your spiritual status?!
